Frank will go to Washington to cut taxes and rein in spending. Living in a high tax, high-cost state, New Jersey’s residents are forced to make difficult decisions each day to make ends meet. That’s why Frank will work to restore the SALT deduction and ensure New Jersey is receiving its fair share of federal funding for essential projects.
Frank will support initiatives to balance the budget and emerge from over $23 trillion in national debt. He will also work to resolve more than $126 trillion in unfunded federal liabilities, which stands to seriously impact our children and grandchildren if left unaddressed.
Recent reforms to the Federal Tax Code and streamlined federal regulations have put our economy back on the right track, but there is more work to be done. While Congressional Democrats spend every waking moment attempting to put roadblocks in front of President Trump’s agenda, Frank will go to Washington to foster economic growth and innovation, further cutting red tape and fighting for further tax reform to support our small businesses and create jobs.
New Jersey’s infrastructure is not only vital to our state, but it is critically important to the United States’ economy overall. 20% of U.S. GDP relies directly or indirectly on the current Hudson River Rail Tunnel. Moreover, $20 billion in business income travels through our ports annually, generating nearly $5 billion in federal, state, and local tax revenues. These figures pale in comparison to the unquantifiable benefit our highways, roads and bridges provide the region every day.
Frank will fight to make sure Washington is properly investing in our infrastructure and will advocate for landmark projects such as the Gateway Tunnel, and critical infrastructure investments in maintenance and repairs to our bridges, tunnels, and roadways.
Frank believes that everyone should have access to high quality healthcare at an affordable price. Proposals from the far left for socialized, single payer healthcare, or ‘Medicare-For-All,’ would have a negative impact on the overall quality of care, stifle innovation and would incur exorbitant costs to the taxpayer. Frank will fight for common-sense reforms that would improve care, increase competition, drive down administrative costs, and stabilize and, ideally, lower the cost of prescription drugs.
Over 35,000 military veterans call the 5th Congressional District home. Frank will make sure our heroes get the care they were promised and the respect they deserve. With Frank in Congress, veterans will have an advocate who will fight to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs to make it work for all veterans and their families in a timely and respectful manner.
Bolstering job placement, renewing an emphasis on mental health, reducing homelessness, giving priority access to substance abuse treatment and suicide prevention resources will always be top advocacy issues for Frank in Washington. Our brave men and women who have served – and continue to serve – deserve more than our respect and admiration; their sacrifices deserve the best our country has to offer and more.
Frank understands that strong national defense begins with securing our borders. He will support measures that strengthen border security, streamline and bolster our capabilities for applicants to legally apply for citizenship, and will advocate for local and state governments to cooperate with federal law enforcement agencies, like ICE.
Frank believes in ensuring our military and intelligence agencies have the resources they need to remain the world’s superior fighting force. This includes retooling our military to meet the challenges of today’s threats with the guidance of our military commanders and ensuring strong diplomatic relations among our allies to ensure peace and prosperity around the globe.
Frank believes that life begins at conception, and that science and knowledge are leading in this direction. He supports the 20-20 pain sensitive legislation proposed by Congressman Chris Smith and others.
The protection of human life is the basis of civilization. A human life is a precious gift from God that must protected and nurtured at every stage of its existence.
We need to follow the most up-to-date science available. Medical professionals are expanding their knowledge on how to sustain life, while protecting the life of the mother. The unborn has a DNA and body distinct from the mother and father and meets the biological criteria for life.
Frank has been endorsed by both the National Right to Life and New Jersey Right to Life.
In his 2020 campaign, Frank earned the support of the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund as well as Gun Owners of America.
As Democrats encourage violence in the streets while calling for the defunding of our law enforcement, we recognize how central the Second Amendment is to both our national and personal wellbeing. Our Second Amendment right to self-protection shall not be infringed and must be defended at all costs.
Women especially must feel safe from violence in their homes, workplaces, and communities. If it is their choice to defend themselves, they should not be hindered by politicians and bureaucrats who inhabit buildings protected by armed security around the clock.
Democrats have called for the removal of police protection at public schools. Frank will stand with the bi-partisan efforts of Second Amendment leaders who have fought for funding to harden school security and keep our children safe.
This position paper, both in content and in spirit, represents my personal views on what mustalways be the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel. It also represents the position I plan to take with me to Washington if I am fortunate enough to become the Representative from New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District following the 2020 general election.
Critical Race Theory (CRT) has infiltrated our schools and the minds of our children. Frank stands strongly against CRT being used in our children’s classrooms. There is no place for these disguised political and ideological concepts in the classroom. Frank will continue to fight the presence of CRT in our schools, as it is being used by Democrats to brainwash society’s most vulnerable population, our kids. As a father of two sons who attended both public and private educational institutions, Frank knows the impact that educators have on impressionable young students. He applauds those who dedicate their life to teaching and nurturing our youth, but strongly believes it is not their role to push left-wing ideologies in the classroom. It is their job to instill skills and knowledge that will help our children be successful and develop their own beliefs, instead of being told what to believe.
